Huh. Between this and this, it’s like Game of Thrones+Marvel might be the new SVU+Oz, in the sense that if you did one, you’ll do the other.
They were also saying he might be playing Puck, but I think that may have been speculation based on physical resemblance according to this source, which also points out that a. Trask was played by Bill Duke, who is a 6’4” Black man, and b. that doesn’t really matter since the X-Men films have played fast and loose with anything resembling continuity or canon.
Either way, Dinklage is definitely in the movie.
On the one hand, I really love Peter Dinklage and it makes my heart sing to see a little person as a leading man; on the other, I’d be sad to see a role that was played by a Black actor go to a White guy, even if it is Dinklage.
but yeah, Dinklage is probably enough to make me go see it with BF (who would go to it either way, Marvel fanboy he is), despite the nasty presence of Jennifer Lawrence.
Either way

I’m the strongest there is.

My little American Dream (Shannon Carter, Marvel Comics MC2). But, of course, everyone just called her Captain America.
And that’s okay too.
