"Hey, I’m not racist or anything, but I’m going to keep repeating all the same racist messages, words, stereotypes, and jokes that I’ve internalized since childhood. I’ve personally risen above it all though - I just do it because it’s absurd."

LOL, this perfectly highlights why I side eye people who say “they aren’t racist” and are just being ironic.

Ever notice the way white people hush up and look stressed when you say the word “white people” in public

note to self: do this more

dude literally tried to get me fired over this shit.

i was working in the centre as always, multitasking/listening to music/working/tumblin and idrmbr what i saw on my dash, but i literally just scoffed and said, “white people.” and that was it.

i didn’t turn to anyone and show them the post, i didn’t read it out loud (i honestly can’t even rmbr what it was) and i had my headphones in/was listening to my music, so i literally was not talking to anyone but myself.

but Grant was in the centre, and he got super upset. emailed my boss, called me a racist and a bigot and said that if i didn’t make him feel safe in the centre, i wasn’t doing my job right, and i got a gentle talking-to from my boss asking me to tone it down cos i can be “a bit abrasive at times”

wowwwwww

a white person crying reverse-racism and using actual racism to enable retaliation on a coworker

no really fuck white people

Bitch, I am disappoint.

Wait, I’m confused. A woman telling other white women to stop telling other women, black or otherwise, what to do is a bad thing, just because she’s white? It’s an informative article about an actual debate happening in the BDSM community. Why are we turning it into something else?

Riddle me this

Why is your url a racial slur?

smh I’ve noticed an influx of ignorant people using slurs in their urls…yesterday I saw someone with n***r in their url. Wtf is wrong with these people?

They think it makes their white friends believe they are clever, bold, and o-so-kawaii. Because violating people’s boundaries is very much in fashion these days.

And to bring it full-circle, it’s all about white people discussing with other white people whether or or “Other People’s” boundaries should or should not be violated, et cetera.

As a person who’s been in a classroom full of privileged dickweeds debating what “we should do about Those People”, and spoken up with, “Hey! As one of Those People, I think-” and being shut up and coerced by the professor, I’ve had about enough talk of white people telling any fucking one what to do.

SMH sounds like the story of my life going through Catholic school in lalala-uppermiddleclass-snowflakeville.

I’m originally from LA and lived a while in the Tampa Bay area; moved to Central New York two years ago at age 28, and have witnessed a Sideshow of Racist Horrors I never believed possible since then. Like, I’d known white people but I’d never met Whiteness. I quite literally had a nervous breakdown. And damn if it ain’t some lightskinned privilege that I hadn’t had one before now.
